10 questions with GS globe winner Eva-Maria Brem

Mar 29, 2016

It was a long road from December 27, 1990 – the day when Eva-Maria Brem stood on skis for the first time – to the biggest success of her career, the overall win in the giant slalom World Cup. But the training efforts and workouts finally paid off. In 2014-15, Brem just missed out on the GS title by finishing runner-up, but she also celebrated her first World Cup victory in Aspen.

This season Brem was very focused and consistent in her favorite discipline. Her solid track record: two victories, two second-place finishes and all top 10 rankings in the remaining races.

With a fourth-place result in an exciting final race in St. Moritz, Brem secured her first place in the rankings and celebrated her first crystal globe.
