2027 NCAA Alpine Skiing Schedule: RMISA, EISA and Championships

The 2027 college alpine season opens Jan. 14 at Sunday River in Maine and Jan. 15 at Vail in Colorado. From there, Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) and Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association (RMISA) racers follow separate calendars toward their conference championships and the NCAA Championships in Vermont.

For alpine fans, the national meet has a clear finish line: men’s and women’s slalom on March 10 and giant slalom on March 12 at Stowe Mountain Resort. The University of Vermont will host the March 10-13 championships, with Nordic racing at Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Alpine and Nordic results both count toward the NCAA team title. NCAA.org

RMISA alpine calendar: Vail to Alaska

RMISA opens with four races in four days at Vail. Denver and Colorado each host a giant slalom and a slalom. The circuit then moves to Utah Olympic Park before four consecutive race days at Mt. Rose. Two alpine qualifiers and the RMISA Championships close the Western schedule at Alyeska Resort in Alaska. rmisaskiing.com

The Alaska finale packs four alpine race days into Feb. 24-27. A qualifier and a championship race are scheduled in each discipline, giving racers a demanding final stretch before nationals.

EISA alpine calendar: Six carnivals across the East

EISA’s six carnivals begin at Sunday River on Jan. 14-15. Smugglers’ Notch, Dartmouth Skiway and Stowe follow before Middlebury hosts a three-day alpine program. Colby’s carnival doubles as the EISA Championships, with the final alpine races at Sugarloaf on Feb. 27-March 1. EISA

NCAA Championships: Alpine and Nordic race dates
