Women’s World Cup Slalom Semmering Start List | Shiffrin Chases Sixth Straight Win — How & When to Watch
Semmering hosts the fifth women’s World Cup slalom of the 2025–26 season, and the Olympic-season hierarchy is now clearly defined. With half of the pre-Olympic slalom calendar complete, the start list reflects a discipline in a decisive phase.
At the center of the story once again stands Mikaela Shiffrin.
Shiffrin arrives in Semmering riding a five-race World Cup slalom winning streak, having gone a perfect four-for-four this season after closing last winter with a victory at the World Cup Finals. She now lines up chasing a sixth straight slalom win, with Olympic-season seeding, team selection, and momentum continuing to build behind every start.

Why Semmering matters
Semmering’s slalom demands focus, commitment, elite timing, and the ability to manage pressure from the first gate. With the second run reversed and Olympic selection pressure intensifying, margins for error tighten quickly.
At this stage of the season, the elite group has separated itself, the chase pack is defined, and Shiffrin remains the benchmark every contender must measure against as the road to Cortina continues.
Course setters: First run — Denis Wicki (SUI); second run — Vincent Blum (FRA)
