Women’s races in Yanqing nixed

FIS has been informed by the National Ski Association of China and BOCOG that the planned women’s World Cup races in Yanqing, China scheduled for Feb. 27-28 will not take place due to COVID-19 regulations and restrictions put in place by the Chinese Authorities, most notably a mandatory 14-day quarantine for all participants.

FIS is waiting for the official confirmation from the National Ski Association of China, which is expected in the upcoming days. Until FIS receives the official confirmation, the events are not officially canceled.

FIS plans to send out an official communication once the confirmation is received, including information about any replacement competitions.
