The Congress is an opportunity to meet the leaders of the sport, and to meet with discussion groups.

As the governing body for alpine ski racing in Canada, ACA’s activities and programs
reach out to athletes anywhere from age five to the elite racers at the Olympic and World Cup level. This includes the Canadian Alpine Ski Team, our Canadian Disabled Alpine Ski Team, major events including our annual Winterstart World Cup races at Lake Louise, the Pontiac GMC Cup Series and Canadian Championships, the CIBC Nor Am Cup series, and programs that develop future talent through the junior and entry-level ranks.

This year’s congress will kick off with the ‘Towards the Podium’ fundraising event, Friday,
September 24, welcoming attendees to a new season as well as presenting awards to last year’s outstanding volunteer, official, club, and alumni. The evening’s other honors will include the prestigious President’s award, the Steve Podborski Bursary and Max Meier award.
