Alpine Canada’s President and CEO, Mark Rubinstein, will be stepping down from his role at the end of 2017. The organization shared the news in an announcement late last week.

“On behalf of the entire ACA family, our sponsors, athletes, staff and board, I want to thank Mark for his strong leadership over the past four years,” said Chris Slubicki, ACA Chair of the Board of Directors. “We respect his decision and professionalism, and ACA has benefited greatly from his commitment, his integrity and his enthusiasm. The organization has achieved significant athletic and business success during Mark’s tenure. ACA is well positioned to achieve further success moving forward. Mark has also agreed to provide ongoing strategic advice to the board, as required.”

“My commitment to the Board of Directors of ACA in 2013, was for a four-year term, and it has been an honor to lead our federation over this past quadrennial,” said Rubinstein. “With a talented group of athletes, coaches and staff, we have accomplished much to be proud of. I am very grateful to all who have helped contribute to our success.”

The Board of Directors at Alpine Canada have commenced a search process to identify its next Chief Executive Officer. During this transition, Mark Rubinstein will continue to lead Alpine Canada through 2017, ensuring that they achieve our high performance and other objectives.
