The American Downhiller squad has announced its plans for setting out to change the future of U.S. speed ski racing. The mission is to empower young ski racers to approach their careers with champion-grade passion, genuine curiosity, and formidable tenacity. The ultimate goal of American Downhiller is to create the basecamp for speed ski racing in America by inspiring and encouraging young racers to challenge themselves and to believe in their own potential.

AD-Mammoth-Camp(logos)The inaugural American Downhiller Speed Camp will be held at Mammoth Mountain, Calif. on May 16-21, and will be a game changing opportunity for aspiring speed skiers. The camp will teach to a broad spectrum of racers from ages U14-U21 how to safely and confidently race downhill and super-G. We will cover the same on snow drills, jumping, terrain and course elements that are practiced at a National Team level, with a 4:1 athlete to coach ratio.  Additionally, athletes will have the unique opportunity to spend quality time with and learn from current World Cup racers, who will share their secrets to mental and physical preparation.
