About Benjamin Steiner

Ben Steiner is a multisport journalist and broadcaster with a diverse portfolio covering the Olympics, alpine skiing, and world athletics. His work has appeared in CBC Sports, Ski and Snowboard Live, and other major outlets. Raised in British Columbia’s Sea to Sky Corridor, Steiner learned to ski in Whistler, where he briefly pursued alpine racing and ski cross—though not with the same success as many of Whistler’s top athletes. Now based in Toronto, he brings his passion for sport to a wider audience but still misses the easy access to skiing, hiking, and the outdoors.
