Next Season Starts Now
Sun Peaks, BC, Canada and Bogus Basin, ID, USA are preparing for the upcoming winter season with advanced snow farming and Snow Secure storage solutions, enabled by LISKI. These resorts are utilizing Snow Secure technology to ensure optimal early-season training conditions and a strong start to the ski season.
Over the past two weeks, both resorts have successfully implemented the Snow Secure Insulation Solution, enabling the storage of approximately 15,000 cubic meters of snow.
This stockpiled snow will be strategically pushed and groomed in the fall to ensure optimal conditions for the ski area’s opening.
Recognizing the growing challenges posed by unpredictable weather patterns, both resorts are committed to expanding the use of this innovative system in the coming seasons. The ultimate goal is to enhance the reliability of early-season openings and strengthen resilience against climate variability.
