VIDEO: Behind the Scenes with Ryan Cochran-Siegle

In FIS’ latest video, Ryan Cochran-Seigle (RCS) shares how he found his love of skiing. From being so young — he was too small to keep his skis on the snow when heading up the t-bar — to becoming a member of the U.S. A Team, RCS has dedicated much of his life to the sport. How has RCS maintained his love for the sport? “I have that ability to view it as not a job, but something to work towards, and also be able to have fun with it.”

RCS skis both speed and tech, so he spends time with both teams. He reflects on how he benefits from this dynamic and how he feels about his position on each team. He also discusses staying motivated, “Your drive has to come from the love of the sport, you have to learn how to enjoy the difficulties as well as the successes.”
