Bozeman, Montana | Full-Time (Seasonal with Year-Round Potential)

The Bridger Ski Foundation (BSF) is seeking an experienced and passionate leader to guide its Alpine program into the 2026–27 season. This is a unique opportunity to take the helm of a well-established program within one of the most respected ski communities in North America.

BSF is looking for a coach who believes in developing athletes holistically—on and off the hill—and who views sport as a powerful platform for personal growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with a deep commitment to long-term athlete development.

About the Role

The Alpine Program Director will oversee all aspects of BSF’s Alpine racing program, working closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, coaching staff, and broader BSF community. This role blends leadership, coaching, program development, and operational management.

While the position is structured as full-time seasonal, BSF is open to building a year-round role for the right candidate—particularly someone eager to contribute to offseason camps, dryland training, administration, marketing, and fundraising initiatives.

Ideal start date: September 1, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall structure of the Alpine program
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term athlete development plans
  • Coach athletes on snow and during dryland training
  • Oversee training schedules, camps, and competition planning
  • Manage program budgets and strategic planning (1-, 3-, and 5-year goals)
  • Coordinate equipment, facilities, transportation, and logistics
  • Collaborate with development staff on sponsorship and fundraising efforts
  • Support marketing and communication efforts
  • Organize races, camps, and training events, including volunteer coordination
  • Maintain strong relationships with Bridger Bowl and other training venues

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Extensive Alpine coaching experience
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Eligible to drive program vehicles
