U12 & U14 Alpine Pre-Season Camp in Colorado 2026
Start the season with a strong foundation and get a head start on the competition with seven days of pre-season training in Colorado. Athletes will build on their technical ski development through directed technical free-skiing, focused drills, and gate work, with daily video review and individualized evaluations to support each athlete’s progression.
Training will take place at Arapahoe Basin and Loveland, with additional lane space at Loveland. The combination of technical free-skiing, drills, and gate training provides athletes with an opportunity to sharpen their skills and prepare for the upcoming competition season in a focused training environment.

Session Dates: Dec. 21-23 2026. Monday through Wednesday (½ day on Wednesday)
This three-day Pre-Holiday Camp is an excellent opportunity for U12, U14, and U16 athletes to build momentum and hit high gear heading into the competition season. The camp consists of two days of Slalom and one day of Giant Slalom, with a focus on developing both technical and tactical skills.
Training will include directed free skiing, GS and SL drill work, and tactical gate training in both disciplines. Athletes will take part in high-volume sessions utilizing the CVA/Colby T-bar and other Sugarloaf training venues to maximize training opportunities and time on snow.
Post-training video analysis will reinforce technical and tactical development and help athletes identify areas for continued improvement. Coaches will work with each athlete on mindset, goal setting, and individual areas of focus, providing direct and focused attention throughout the camp.
Carrabassett Valley Academy’s Alpine program offers competitive athletes individualized coaching and high-level training designed to prepare them physically and mentally to compete at their best. Based at Sugarloaf Mountain, CVA provides access to world-class training venues and experienced coaches focused on athlete development.
Staff will include CVA Academy and Weekend Program coaches.
