Caviezel fractures collarbone in GS training

Gino Caviezel crashed Wednesday in giant slalom training in Zinal, Switzerland. The 25-year-old World Cup skier has suffered a concussion and a fracture of his left collarbone. The break was operated on this afternoon.

“After a six-week rehabilitation, a control X-ray will show whether Gino Caviezel can then train again in the gates,” said Swiss Ski Team doctor Walter O. Frey.
