Courchevel Women’s Slalom Start List and Program | Stand-Alone Night Race

The women’s World Cup slalom is in Courchevel, France, for a stand-alone Tuesday night race on Dec. 16, a rare midweek showcase that puts the technical discipline in full focus. With no other events attached, slalom takes center stage under the lights on a hill that rewards aggression and commitment.

The timing also benefits North American viewers. The first run takes place in the morning in North America, making it easier to watch live. If you can’t tune in, we’ll report after both the first and second runs to keep you up to date.

At the top of the field, two skiers have clearly set the early-season standard.

Mikaela Shiffrin arrives in Courchevel having won all three women’s slaloms this season, extending her streak to four consecutive slalom victories dating back to the final race of last winter. Her Copper Mountain win marked her 67th career World Cup slalom victory, and she continues to ski at a level that separates her from the rest of the field.

Alongside her, teenager Lara Colturi has delivered a remarkably consistent start to the winter. Colturi has finished on the podium in all three slalom races so far, establishing herself as Shiffrin’s most reliable early-season challenger and confirming her place among the discipline’s elite.
