Cuche breaks thumb in training crash
The Swiss Ski Team is reporting Didier Cuche, the downhill silver medalist, broke his left thumb while training GS in preparation for Friday’s giant slalom at the World Championships. The thumb has been put in a cast and he still hopes to compete in the GS, leaving the possibility of surgery an option for next week.
