Down Time Episode 5: Dryland

Dec 11, 2007

The world's top ski racers will tell you that winning on the hill starts with hard work during the warm months, and that means hours and hours of dryland training. But keeping dryland from getting dreary and boring apparently is easy for Julia Mancuso and Resi Stiegler.
Mancuso says her trainer has never had her do the same exercise twice, and she adds that Scott Sanchez "knows the feeling of making a perfect turn" from his days as a racer. Stiegler says training with those who are better or stronger than you can be the only way to get better at something.
