Episode 3: Growing up Stiegler/The first Lange Girl-Athlete

"We're Stieglers. It's a little hectic," says Resi Stiegler of her life, both in her birthplace of Jackson Hole and when she's on the road in Europe during the World Cup season. Resi grew up modestly with nature all around her, more old-school Jackson than the way life is for a lot of residents of the town nowadays. Hear Resi's mother speak of how the family connected with nature on a daily basis, living without television while enjoying the outdoors. "We had the most wonderful life," Resi says.
The traditional Lange Girl poster concept was reborn and reshaped last season when the company named Julia Mancuso as the first Lange Girl-Athlete. Mancuso speaks of every woman having an inner goddess and how she wanted to transform the Lange Girl into what embodies the female athlete.
