Fantasy Report – Week 1 final

The schedule makers wanted to get four races into the first week, but got short circuited when Soelden was canceled. Regardless, with only two races to score, both Sammy’s Slammers in the Stenmark Division and Kashalot of the Forum League posted 200pt totals, the Slammers on the strength of owning Levi winner Marlies Schild in both an overall and the slalom positions, and Kashalot from owning Benjamin Raich in an overall slot and Schild in slalom.
Sammy moved to the top of the Stenmark Division standings overpowering Rand Corp despite a second place result in overall from Nicole Hosp.

THE SCHEDULE MAKERS wanted to get four races into the first week, but got short circuited when Soelden was canceled.     Sammy moved to the top of the Stenmark Division standings overpowering Rand Corp despite a second place result in overall from Nicole Hosp.
The Smokin’ Mirrors fought off a valiant effort from The Hammers eking out a 145-112 margin to stake a claim on second in the division. The Mirrors had Raich’s win in the slalom slot and 45 more from Rainer Schoenfelder while the Hammers got Markus Larsson’s second place result in the slalom hole, and 32 from Thomas Grandi in overall.
The Kevlar Lederhosen, holding Raich in an overall post, got a narrow 126-92 win over Dave ‘s Dumpster Divers. Defending league champ Team PMS registered a win based on Hosp’s second place. Opponent Ricks Rangers had a dreadful start getting just 24 from Kalle Palander.
In the Moser-Proell Division rookies took the early standings lead as Balloon Animal Commandos posted a shut-out over the Destroyers, and got to a division high 138 points on scoring from three positions (Kathrin Zettel in overall, Tanja Poutiainen in overall and Giorgio Rocca in slalom.
Second in the standings is Hilary’s Hellacious Hardcore with 72 points, which was more than enough to drown the White Circus Watch. The Birds of Pray holds third in the standings with a 60 point total and the win over Ribbons. The luckiest win of the week went to the Interosseous Membrane with a four point win over The Blacks and a grand total of 22 points, all from Anja Paerson.
Kashalot leads the Forum League, but not by much as Extremeskier put up a formidable 184 counter total to drub Sbtski4. Extremeskier made great use of its roster with Schild and Palander bringing in points from both overall positions and Rocca’s third place finish filling the slalom position.
Mgb and DeWitt Cave will spend the time until the next World Cup races dang near deadlocked with mgb third in the standings thanks to a 98-0 win over Skibum and DeWitt Cave in fourth from a 92-24 win over Tristate Alumni.
