Recap
The Birds of Pray and the Blacks ran into some potent teams and got stung despite tallying the second- and fourth-highest scores of the week. Team PMS (with both Kostelic and Maze) is in a much better mood after posting a 190-point total and stopping the Birds of Pray (powered by Bode Miller’s second and Anja Paerson’s third). The Vintonator (with Raich and Cuche in the overall positions and Miller in GS) claimed the narrowest win of the week 138-129 over the Blacks, who got Hermann Maier’s win and 29 from Genevieve Simard in the GS slot). The Golden Ribbons (Maze in GS and Walchhofer in an overall position) posted the fifth-highest score. And barely covering the bottom of the barrel, the Smokin’ Mirrors with six measly points.
