Fantasy Report: Week 10 final

Interosseous Membrane – sitting in the Kitzbuehel press room – made a great call in making its first player move of the season, dropping the idle Anja Paerson from the slalom position and picking up Mario Matt who proceeded to grab three straight podiums. The fact Membrane also had Renate Goetschl in an overall position for another 280 spelled doom for Birds of Pray in the battle for the top of the Moser-Proell Division.

INTEROSSEOUS MEMBRANE – SITTING IN THE KITZBUEHEL PRESSROOM – MADE A GREAT call in making its first player move of the season, dropping the idle Anja Paerson from the slalom position and picking up Mario Matt who proceeded to grab three straight podiums. The fact Membrane also had Renate Goetschl in an overall position for another 280 spelled doom for Birds of Pray in the battle for the top of the Moser-Proell Division. The Birds, no stranger to the world of changing personnel, had picked up two male slalom skiers in its overall slots and scored well enough (426) to beat 21 of the 24 teams reported on here, but not enough to stretch the Membrane to the breaking point.
The Blacks powered past Ribbons 292-90 with Julia Mancuso, Elisabeth Goergl and Kelly VanderBeek providing lots of punch. The Ribbons just had no answer with a male dominated squad with little slalom potency. The Destroyers got a bit of luck when Hilary's Hellacious Hardcore could not muster a point with most of it's squad sidelined. White Circus Watch dominated the Balloon Animal Commandos thanks almost entirely to Lindsey Kildow and 230 of the 240 total.

Stenmark Division
Smokin' Mirrors jumped in the standings with a massive 525pt total thanks to the pick up of Jens Byggmark, having Kildow in the DH slot and a tidy 185 from Benjamin Raich in slalom. Ricks Rangers wavered in the reflection of the Mirrors getting precious little from a two position holding of slalom ace Kalle Palander who just got 42pts in three attempts. Sammyz Slammers held the top of the standings with a cheap win over Daves Dumpster Divers when Goetschl's DH win was enough in itself for victory. The Lederhosen washed over Rand Corp 231-128 thanks largely to Raich. Team PMS staged a comeback win over the Hammers because of Goetschl in the SG position.
