Fantasy Report: Week 11 final

In a battle at the top of the Stenmark Division Sammyz Slammers displayed the solidity which has served it so well all season with just one podium placing from Marlies Schild in combined but adding enough points from Didier Cuche, Christoph Gruber in SG and Renate Goetschl in DH to overcome the Smokin' Mirrors and its miracle pick-up of super G winner Patrick Staudacher. Kildow added her DH podium to the Mirror mix, but the squad fell short by a scant 27pts. Kevlar Lederhosen lept up the standings with a 47pt margin over Team PMS on a last day reprieve when Aksel Svindal won the DH. The Dumpster Divers were all over Ranger Rick with the bulk of its points coming in from Bode Miller and the Rand Corporation just hammered the Hammers fired by 150 from Nicole Hosp.

Interosseous Membrane put a little distance into the top of the Moser-Proell Division with an easy win over the Balloon Animal Commandos by holding Goetchl in an overall spot and Erik Guay in DH. But the big move on the standings list was from the Destroyers which sailed into second for the season by pounding The Blacks when Julia Mancuso provided a 146pt overall position performance. Hilary's Hellacious Hardcore, shut out a week ago, had triple gold medallist Anja Paerson in an overall position and that was all she wrote for Ribbons, despite a potent 165 from Aksel Svindal. White Circus Watch snuck past Birds of Pray with Lindsey Kildow and Didier Defago contributing 160 and 90 respectively from the overall posts.

Skibums, with a five week win streak running, has pushed into the top four of the Forum League, dumping DeWitt Cave this week mostly due to Kildow's double silver medals. There was no defense to by found in a shoot out between NY8739 and Sktski but NY8749 had Paerson for 300 golden points to provide the needed edge. At the top of the standings Extremeskier got a double by defeating Kashalot, the only team still ranked above them using Schild's combined bronze as the catapult. MGB got past Tri State Alumni thanks to Hosp and 90 from an overall slot.
