Patricia Mangan from the Holimont Racing team and Christian Gallagher of Green Mountain Valley School are the winners of the first event of the Marriot Junior 3 Olympic eastern championships claiming the super G titles at Sugarloaf, Maine Thursday (March 15).

Mangan, of Derby, NY, charged down the Narrow Gauge trail .26 ahead of Eva Shaw and 1.16 ahead of third finishing Olivia Gerrard, both of the Burke Mountain Academy.

Gallagher was .46 ahead of Zach Bouchard of the Gould Academy and 1.35 ahead of Paul Sheils skiing for Burke.

The Championships continue through Monday March 19.
