The 2018 edition of the FIS Technical Committee Meetings in Zurich, Switzerland, are under way and will include a multitude of different meetings and last preparations before the 2018-19 winter season begins.

Taking place at the Hotel Hilton Zurich Airport for the 17th consecutive time, the program features the regular meetings of the various committees, sub-committees and working groups until Saturday, September 29, and numerous other formal and informal meetings will be taking place among some 500 members of the extended ski and snowboard family.

For the World Championship organizers, an important workshop is taking place this week, bringing together the hosts of the upcoming championships in 2019, 2021, and 2023.

The 16th Youth & Children’s Seminar focuses on the topic of athlete well-being and safe sport for all following the adoption of the FIS Snow Safe Policy at the FIS Congress 2018 in Costa Navarino, Greece.

As has become a tradition, Swiss-Ski is once again inviting participants of the FIS Technical Autumn Meetings in Zurich to an Aperitif on Thursday, October 27, 2018.
