Garayoa hired as director at Team Palisades Tahoe

Eric Garayoa has accepted the position of director of Teams for Palisades Tahoe. Garayoa has built a career in implementing systems that allow athletes and staff to achieve their very best. Importantly, in the proud tradition of Team Palisades Tahoe, Garayoa will always look to create an athlete culture that promotes self-confidence and a love for the sport.

“Eric brings a deep passion for youth athletics and development, and we couldn’t ask for a better person to lead all team segments towards overall success in accordance with our mission and vision,” says Bill Hudson, Director of Skier Services at Palisades Tahoe. 

Garayoa has over 20 years of experience as a coach and program director at local resorts and as a competitive skier himself at the College of Idaho. Most recently, Eric has spent seven years at Team Palisades Tahoe as Director of Athletics developing a culture of excellence.  His thoughtful approach to athlete development has allowed for greater productivity in every training session.  His work ethic and drive towards quality will serve as the very best example for the Team athletes and coaches.

Snow sports and the individual growth and joy it brings are at the root of my love for this Team.” says Eric.
