The World Cup Olympic season continues Sunday in Gurgl, Austria. This preview provides the full start list, daily program, and key storylines ahead of the second women’s slalom of the year — and includes the major names who shaped the opening race in Levi.

North American Spotlight

North America opens the Gurgl weekend with strong momentum after Mikaela Shiffrin dominated the first slalom of the season in Levi. Paula Moltzan delivered a powerful fourth-place finish, setting a strong early tone for the Stifel U.S. Ski Team. Canada, meanwhile, welcomes back 2023 World Champion Laurence St-Germain, who returns after missing Levi with back pain.

The United States again brings six athletes into the start, while Canada starts four. Great Britain does not have an athlete on Sunday’s list.

Wendy Holdener will lead the field out of the gate in Gurgl, setting the pace for an elite opening block that includes the names who defined the Levi storyline:
