Thinking about a change? Summer is the optimal time to test equipment and dial in your set up for the season. Whether you are headed to Mammoth Mountain or Mt. Hood for camp, top ski brands are bringing a quiver of skis, boots and bindings to the slopes along with brand experts to guide you to the best set-up based on your skills and goals. Scroll down for all the details on where and when you can test equipment this summer.

BLIZZARD, TECNICA
This year, Blizzard and Tecnica are introducing the brand new Firebird race line of skis and boots, which will be available for testing at Mammoth Mountain from May 5-31, 2018, and Mt. Hood from June 10-July 20, 2018.

Blizzard Firebird FIS giant slalom and slalom race skis, all the way down to the little Firebird JR giant slalom and slalom ripper skis, will be available at both locations. Tecnica Firebird WC boots will be available in the WC 150/130 and all new Firebird WC 90. Please contact Pearson Neal or Cody Wilson at pneal@tgroupusa.com and codyraces@gmail.com.

ROSSIGNOL, DYNASTAR, LANGE
Rossignol and Dynastar gear has had a hefty makeover for the coming season: all new graphics, all new R22 racing plate straight off the World cup for the Adult and Tweener skis and extremely fast bases.

Visit them at Mt. Hood between June 11 and July 12 in the usual location: Two trailers on Main St. in Government Camp across from the Collins Lake Resort. Matt Beers and Max Richard will be on the scene to help out eager ski testers.

HEAD
It was another winning race season for HEAD’s World Cup Rebels; we encourage all athletes to stop by the HEAD test center this summer to feel the innovation of some of the fastest, World-Cup-proven, skis, boots, and bindings on snow.

Together, Cameron Smith and Matt Larson will be managing HEAD’s test center in Government Camp, Ore., this summer to provide a first-class experience. Their goal is to support athletes in testing quality and perfectly tuned HEAD race equipment from June 9-July 9, 2018. You can find them at the Mount Hood Alpine Racing Center, located at 88786 E. Government Camp Loop, Government Camp, Ore. 97028.

FISCHER
The Fischer Brand has recently redefined its competition effort with the appointment of a new competition team to work with alpine athletes, coaches and race retailers in the U.S. including Director of Competition Dan Walczewski, East Coast Competition Manager Kyle Cleveland, and West Coast Competition Manager Steve Brown. The Fischer Race Department is looking forward to offering athletes the ability to demo skis and boots this spring and summer at both Mammoth Mountain and Mt. Hood. Fischer will have skis from junior constructions to the RC4 World Cup construction FIS product as well as the Podium Race Plug boots in multiple flexes.

At Mt. Hood, a larger team will be working out of the Fischer House at 30765 Meldrum St., Government Camp, Ore., from June 1 – July 8, 2018. Go see Walczewski along with Steve Brown and Kyle Cleveland to try the latest equipment.

NORDICA
Searching for speed? Be sure to test the all-new 2019 Dobermann race collection of skis and boots this summer including the new Dobermann GP 70 and WC 90 boot. On-site testing is available at Mt. Hood, Ore., and Mammoth Mountain, Calif. 

In Mammoth, Dave Nihan will be on location from May 13-20. Then, he heads north to Mt. Hood from June 10-July 15 at the Valian Ski Shop, across the street from Govy General. Stop by one of the Nordica test centers and join the likes of Felix Neureuther and Dominik Paris by becoming a part of the Dobermann Club. Create your own Dobermann avatar and receive a free limited edition Dobermann knit headband while supplies last (and they won’t last long!)

ATOMIC
This summer, Atomic will ride the wave of World Cup victories and Olympic gold medals right to Mammoth Mountain and Mount Hood. They will have more testing than ever before with the ability to customize test programs for clubs and individual racers. Try the Redster Skis especially the updated Junior G9 GS and S9 Sl skis along with our full line of Redster World Cup boots.  

The Atomic Mobile Race Center will be at Mammoth Mountain from May 15-30 with daily demo service at the base of the mountain. Just look for the Atomic trailer or contact Kristen Kilchenstein at 603-828-2305.

VOELKL, MARKER, DALBELLO
Voelkl, Marker, and Dalbello welcome racers of all ages to summer 2018 test facilities in Mt. Hood and Mammoth Mountain. Skis, boots, and bindings are available for testing, the perfect opportunity to get equipment dialed for the 2018-19 season!

Visit the trailer, located in The Yodeler parking lot at Mammoth Mountain between May 9-June 15. Connor Farrow and Kyle Kracht will be one site to help with all your testing needs and can be reached via email at connor.farrow@mdv-usa.com and kyle.kracht@mdv-usa.com. Farrow will also be up north in Oregon from June 9-July 23. Head to the test center on Main Street in Government Camp–just above Charlie’s Mountain View.
