The 2009 Rocky/Central J3 Junior Olympics held its final races today; men’s and women’s slaloms at Beaver Creek.

Bobby Moyer of Aspen Valley Ski/Snowboard Club, winner of Monday’s SG, won the men’s race, followed by the Buck Hill Ski Team’s Mitchell Underhill in second. Ausblick Racing Team’s William Blommer, the sliver medalist in Tuesday’s GS, saw his second medal in as many days with a third place finish.
 
Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club’s Julia Cooper handily took the women’s race by more than a second and a half. Katherine Irwin of Ski & Snowboard Club Vail secured the silver medal, her second medal of the event, while teammate Celine Guilmineau grabbed the bronze, her fourth medal of the week.
