The Kelly Brush Century Ride is coming up in September and Kelly and Charlie Brush will be among 15 or 20 people hand cycling in the event.
Charlie estimates somewhere between 450 and 650 cyclists will participate in the KBF Century Ride all helping to raise support for the Kelly Brush Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping individuals who have suffered spinal cord injuries to be active through adaptive sporting and recreational gear.
The foundation was established in 2006 by the family and friends of Kelly Brush, an athlete who incurred a spinal cord injury while ski racing. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and additional information on the foundation and the Century Ride can be found at this link.
