Leif Kristian Nestvold Haugen, a Rossignol athlete for 13 seasons, will not be racing with the brand this upcoming winter.
Haugen writes, “From college racing to the World Cup scene. From my first points to my first medal and podium. Thanks @rossignolracing for 13 great seasons.”
Haugen has yet to announce what brand he will be skiing on this season, which has created room for speculation. Several of his Norwegian teammates, such as Kjetil Jansrud, Atle Lie McGrath, and Fabian Wilkens Solheimare, are currently on HEAD, which many speculators think would be good fit.
Update: A day later, Haugen confirmed what many suspected, that he would be joining the HEAD Rebels for the 2021-22 Olympic season.
