Lindsey Vonn announced on Facebook Sunday that she and boyfriend Tiger Woods have decided to end their relationship after nearly three years due to the inherent challenges of their busy lives.

“After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together,” Vonn wrote.

The sports celebrities have made multiple appearances at each other’s competitions over the past three years, Vonn most recently attending the 2015 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club where Woods finished outside the top 10 at 5-under par.

“Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart,” Vonn continued. “I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.”

Woods echoed Vonn’s sentiments on his own website.

“Lindsey and I have mutually decided to stop dating,” he wrote. “I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsey and I’ll always cherish our time together. She has been amazing with Sam and Charlie and my entire family.”
