MARKER bindings, with its innovation, technical sophistication, and performance, are making their mark in the first half of the 2024/25 Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup season helping numerous top athletes secure podium positions. The binding specialist from Penzberg celebrates these successes that span across all teams and disciplines.

As in many other sports, racing in the ski world serves as both a testing laboratory and a moment of truth for brands and manufacturers. It is where technologies and materials are put to the test under the most demanding conditions and public scrutiny. This makes the current results in slalom and giant slalom even more gratifying for the Upper Bavarian company. So far this season, athletes using MARKER bindings have reached the podium 24 times – #takeacloserlook – including eight first place, ten second place, and six third place finishes. In the 1970s, the M series revolutionised the binding market with an automatic heel release. With the DUKE PT and the continuous development of the Royal Family, MARKER has been setting new standards in the freeride and freestyle segment since 2007. Since launching Protective Snow Equipment in the 12/13 season, the company, which is based in Penzberg in Bavaria, has also been innovating in the fields of helmets, goggles and protectors. With bindings like the Kingpin, the world’s first Pintech binding with TÜV certification according to the DIN ISO 13992:2007 standard, and the Alpinist, MARKER has also been conquering the touring market since 2014. In 2022, MARKER began using alternative materials, such as bio-based and recycled plastics, in the production of the Cruise comfort pin binding, helping to reduce fossil raw material consumption. This makes MARKER a pioneer in the industry in terms of sustainability.  MARKER has been part of the Elevate Outdoor Collective since 2022.
