Livigno Hosts its First Men’s Super-G as Olympic Pressure Builds | Start List & Program

The men’s World Cup super-G returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 27, with Livigno stepping onto the World Cup calendar at a decisive moment in the Olympic season.

With three of nine men’s super-G races already completed, only three remain before the Olympic break, leaving little margin for error in a discipline where hundredths separate podiums from missed opportunity.

With a new venue, a compressed Olympic calendar, and four of the five top super-G athletes in the season’s standings on the start list, Livigno offers a rare blend of uncertainty and consequence. For many in the field, Saturday’s race is not just about points, but about qualifying for Bormio, establishing confidence and positioning as Olympic preparation intensifies.
