Mintz joins Ski Racing editorial staff

Ski Racing has hired Geoff Mintz as associate editor.

A former ski racer and instructor who graduated from Holderness and UVM, Mintz has covered competitive snow sports for several years, most recently at the Summit Daily News, where he was the sports editor. He has written about the women’s World Cup for SKI magazine and has reported from Lake Louise, Birds of Prey at Beaver Creek, U.S. Ski Team Speed Center at Copper Mountain, the U.S. Alpine Championships, Dew Tour and X Games, among others. He most recently caught up with alpine Olympian Stacey Cook about her flight on a U.S. Navy F/A-18.

In his new post with Ski Racing, Mintz will be writing and reporting on the alpine women’s World Cup; USSA news and events; and other winter sports action from his home in Vail.
