The Alpine World Cup City Event planned on Jan. 1,  2012 at Munich was officially cancelled today. The lack of snow, warm temperatures with rain and no positive weather forecast into the immediate future called the end for the parallel slalom scheduled on a small hill located outside of the ‘Olympia-Park’ at Munich. It will not be replaced during the season.

Another ‘City Event’ is still planned in February at Moscow, where the best 16 skiers from the women and men World Cup standings will compete on a spectacular ramp built nearby the center of the Russian capital.
