NCAA selects championship hosts through 2017
The NCAA announced on Wednesday that it has selected hosts for the national championships in skiing to be held from 2015-2017. The 2014 NCAA championships were already assigned to the University of Utah which will host races from March 5-8, 2014 in Park City, Utah.
In 2015, St. Lawrence University will host the championships in Lake Placid, N.Y. It is the second time that the 1980 Olympic venue will play host to the event, the last occurrence taking place in 1982. In 2016, the University of Colorado will once again host at the 2010 location of Steamboat Springs (alpine) and Howelsen Hill (Nordic). And finally, the University of New Hampshire will hold the 2017 championships in Franconia, N.H. at Cannon Mountain (alpine) and Jackson Ski Touring Center (Nordic).
