New Universal Sports galleries picture 2010 U.S. Olympians

Last week NBC caught up with the USSA’s top athletes at its own Media Summit in preparation for its coverage of next year’s Games. Lindsey Vonn, Hannah Teter, Daron Rahlves and about 40 of the county’s top skiers and snowboarders gathered in Los Angeles for interviews and more than a few pictures. While NBC and Universal Sports will air most of the interviews and footage during the Olympics, they have posted galleries of each athlete on UniversalSports.com.

“It was a bang, bang, bang schedule but we got it done fast,” said U.S. alpine racer Steven Nyman of the packed NBC shoot. “Being pampered like that was weird but hey, I’ll take it.”

The athletes hammed it up in faux snow while giving their sponsors a little plug. Click here to see everything from ski crosser Casy Puckett in full race gear, to nordic combined skier Todd Lodwick in … less than full race gear.
