Sun Valley World Cup Downhill Canceled by Weather; Odermatt and Brignone Clinch Titles

Both the men’s and women’s downhill races at the Stifel Sun Valley World Cup Finals were canceled Saturday due to heavy snow and strong winds. As a result, Switzerland’s Marco Odermatt secured the men’s downhill title and completed a sweep of all four discipline globes, while Italy’s Federica Brignone claimed her first career downhill title and added a second globe to her season after already clinching the overall.
