Nor-Am: Races finally underway in Mammoth

After five days of postponements due to snow and wind, the Nor-Am Cup was back in action yesterday at Mammoth Mountain, Calif., with men’s and women’s super G races. 

Canadian Shona Rubens topped the women’s podium, beating Americans Ann West and Kaylin Richardson in second and third, respectively. Nor-Am Cup super G points leader, American Alice McKennis was just of the podium in fourth. Teammate Julia Littman followed in fifth.

Canadian men took the top four spots, led by Louis-Pierre Helie. Stefan Guay and Tyler Nella joined him on the podium in second and third, respectively.

Kevin Francis led the American, finishing fifth.

Jamaican Errol Kerr was also in the field with a 12th place finish.
