Super-G Races Canceled at NorAm Finals, Mollin and Alexander Crowned Super-G Titles

The NorAm Finals kicked off with a downhill race. Challenging weather conditions canceled the second downhill race. Isaiah Nelson and Allison Mollin won and earned downhill NorAm Cup Titles. Wiley Maple and Haley Cutler also achieved the second NorAm Cup downhill titles.
This past week, the men competed in the final regular season NorAm series, hosted in Mont Ste-Marie, Quebec. Two giant slaloms and two slaloms were scheduled. However, one of the slaloms got canceled. Nevertheless, the men had a successful few days of racing before the NorAm Finals.
The North American (NorAm) Cup series continued into its final regular season races. The women competed in two days of slalom at Devils Glen, Ontario, and transitioned to two days of giant slalom at Georgian Peaks, Ontario.

The men continued onto the next stop in the Stifel Success NorAm Cup with another weekend in Colorado. The tech events moved to Beaver Creek Resort, where the men competed in two days of giant slalom and two days of slalom.

After a canceled super-G on Saturday, the men and women had a final Nor Am Cup race of the discipline at Whistler on Sunday to decide the season event titles. Unpredictable conditions required good balance, executing their line, and charging hard.

The women resumed the NorAm calendar this week at Stratton Mountain. While the men were 150 miles north, both races experienced heavy rain and warm temperatures that left challenging conditions.
