Nordica USA and Deb Armstrong Sign Agreement{mosimage}Nordica USA and Deb Armstrong have agreed to an endorsement agreement that will have the PSIA National Demo Team member wearing Nordica boots and skis for the next three seasons. Deb Armstrong, a first term PSIA Demo Team Member, won a Gold Medal at the 1984 Winter Olympic Games using Nordica ski boots and is now returning to the brand that helped her on her way to Olympic glory. The partnership promises to be as successful now as it was in 1984 and is evidence of Nordica’s commitment to the women’s segment of the ski market.

In the spring of 2005, Nordica launched the ‘Olympia’ collection of women’s skis. The agreement with Armstrong seems fateful in retrospect considering her Olympic accomplishments. ‘This renewed relationship brings together a number of Nordica’s key focal points’ commented Willy Booker, Nordica’s Promotions and Ski Product manager. ‘Deb speaks for Nordica’s commitment to women’s specific skiing products.’ We are delighted to welcome her back to the Nordica Team.’ Armstrong will join longtime Nordica athlete Michael Rogan as a Nordica representative on the PSIA National Demo Team.

Along with her PSIA and Olympic accomplishments, Deb Armstrong is also the Ambassador of Skiing at Taos Ski Valley in New Mexico. Elected to the PSIA National Demo Team in the spring of 2004, Armstrong was sidelined for the 2004-2005 ski season with a rare illness resulting from a tick bite. ‘It feels great to be back on skis and I’m thrilled about this renewed relationship. Nordica and I both share a great passion for excellence so I think this partnership is natural. I am very excited about it’ commented Deb Armstrong.
