IN THIS SUMMER'S
second individual competition within FIS Grand Prix ski jumping in Courchevel, France, on Tuesday, difficult wind conditions challenged the jumpers.
Bjoern Einar Romoeren of Norway, who shared the lead with teammate Roar Ljoekelsoey after the first round with strong jumps of 127 meters each, managed to keep Poland’s Adam Malysz behind him by 1.1 points. Romoeren also took the day’s Manner prize as, according to the new rules, only the best 10 jumpers from the World Cup ranking list are prequalified.
At the midway point, Malysz leads the Four Nations Grand Prix ahead of Thomas Morgenstern and Gregor Schlierenzauer. This special tournament will continue with a competition in Pragelato, Italy, on Thursday and conclude in Einsiedeln, Switzerland on Saturday.
