Women’s GS

  • The first day of GS was filled with strong winds and race delays that ultimately led to the cancellation of the men’s race.

    • Keeley Cashman’s strong first-run lead the field by 0.55 seconds.

    In the end, Team X athlete Foreste Peterson (USA) took the win by 0.23 seconds with Cashman finishing second and Andrea Komsic (CRO) finishing third.

    Men’s GS

    After delays on the previous day, race organizers opted to host only the men’s GS for day two.
    • Tips and Tales Podcast Intern and US Ski Team Member Jimmy Krupka lays it over on his way to a 13th place finish.
    • Canadian Asher Jordan continued his strong start to the NorAm season moving up from bib 40 to win the second run and finish 5th.
    • Maarten Meiners of the Nederlands laid down two consistent runs to find himself on top of the podium.

    Women’s Slalom

    The final two days saw a battle for the top spot on the podium as conditions remained challenging for the remaining slalom races. Foreste Peterson (USA)
    Resi Stiegler (USA)
    DU’s Amelia Smart (CAN) took the win on day one with a 1.27-second margin over second-place finisher Lila Lapanja (USA).

    • Katie Hensien (USA) dethroned Amelia Smart on day two beating her by just 0.07 seconds, Smart would end up finishing second.

    Men’s Slalom

    Bridger Gile (USA) showed some strong results all week and finished the series with a 5th place finish on the final day.
    The day one win went to Canadian Jeff Read who beat out American’s Sandy Vietze (2nd) and Alex Leever (3rd) for the top spot.
    Ben Ritchie (USA) closed out the series with a win and the second NorAm gold of his career.
