Ski racers have until October 11, 2026, to submit their best action photos and share their stories for a chance to appear on the next Race Place catalog cover.
The Race Place Catalog Cover Contest is back, giving two ski racers the opportunity to become cover athletes and win gift certificates totaling $4,500.
The front cover winner will receive a $3,000 Race Place gift certificate, while the back cover winner will earn a $1,500 Race Place gift certificate.
Race Place is looking for athletes who represent the spirit of ski racing, both on and off the hill. A strong action photo is part of the entry, but the racer’s story matters, too.
Share the Story Behind the Racer
Along with their photos, entrants should submit a brief statement introducing themselves, highlighting their recent racing accomplishments and explaining why they should be selected for the cover.
The contest offers racers a chance to share more than their results. Challenges they have overcome, the motivation behind their training and what ski racing means to them can all help tell their story.
What You Need to Enter
To enter, racers must submit:
- Up to four high-resolution ski racing action photos.
- A brief statement explaining why they should win and outlining their recent ski racing accomplishments.
Entrants must be U.S. athletes age 14 or older and must be wearing or using equipment sold by Race Place in their submitted photos. Athletes currently attending school should also be in good academic standing.

Entry Deadline Extended
The entry deadline has been extended to October 11, 2026, giving racers more time to choose their best photos and put their stories into words.
Have a photo that captures you at your best? Pair it with the story behind your skiing for a chance to become the next Race Place catalog cover athlete.
