Winter Park, CO — The Winter Park Competition Center (WPCC) is excited to announce that registration is now open for its 2024–25 winter programs. Entering its 62nd season, WPCC continues to uphold a tradition of excellence in all-mountain, Alpine, Freestyle, Freeride, Freeski, Nordic, and Snowboard competition training, offering programs for athletes of all levels.

A Legacy of Excellence

Since its founding in 1962 as the Winter Park Ski Club, the Winter Park Competition Center has been a leader in developing elite athletes in skiing and snowboarding. Known for its commitment to both athletic and personal growth, the Center offers top-tier coaching within a community that values integrity, excellence, teamwork, and fun.

Winter Programs for All

Winter programs are designed for both youth and adults, offering a range of disciplines including all-mountain, Alpine racing, freeride big mountain, freeski park and pipe, freestyle moguls, nordic, and snowboarding. Adults can also participate in specialized All Mountain and Mogul programs, all aimed at enhancing skills and building confidence.

Winter Park Competition Center Director Jeff Burrows commented, “We’re thrilled to welcome back our returning families and athletes of all ages, and a warm welcome to those joining us for the first time. Together, we embark on another season of exceptional programs and events that inspire a lifelong passion for mountain sports.”

Opportunities for Alpine & Freestyle Visiting Team Training

Through a close working relationship with Winter Park Resort, the Competition Center has the distinct advantage of utilizing the mountain operations department and staffs a full-time professional events crew, greatly enhancing training and competition opportunities throughout the year.

“This season, we’re offering exceptional early and late-season training opportunities for visiting teams. With upgraded snowmaking, varied terrain, and on-site lodging, Winter Park is the perfect location for teams seeking a competitive edge,” adds Alpine Program Director Mike Bowman. 

Early Season Training (November 2024): Starting November 1, 2024, pending snow conditions, visiting teams will have access to private gate training spaces on multiple trails. Morning and afternoon training slots are available, with the option to request specific lanes and disciplines.

Late Season Training (May 2025): Extend your training into May 2025 with our late-season camps. With our commitment to maintaining high-quality conditions, teams can maximize their season.
