Retired ski racers getting sendy in Iceland

Four former ski racers climb a mountain in Iceland… What happens next, you’ll have to see to believe.

The voiceover, moody music and stunning landscapes of this short film might have you thinking this is a trailer for an upcoming feature film worthy of an Oscar nod. Sure, that might be a bit of a dramatic evaluation of the 6-minute film, but it’s appropriate when you consider the pizazz of this ski film from Outside Television featuring the work of several former ski racers. The video was directed and edited by Matt Hardy, who raced for Squaw Valley, and features former Snowbird Ski Team athlete, Marcus Caston, and former Sun Valley Ski Team athlete, Mckenna Peterson. UNH Wildcats alumnus, Mike Schirf, worked as a photographer as well.
