Katy Harris of Team Breck got the Rocky-Central J3 GS title over Serina Kidd of Steamboat’s Sports Club by a couple of tenths. Kaitlynn Sockett was third, more than a second behind either of them. In fourth was rachel Desrochers, Erika McCormick was fifth and Hava Rohloff sixth in some of the only Marriott Junior Championship alpine action taking place.

Men’s GS, held Thursday went to Colby Lane with Andrew Hancock in second and Benjamin Throm third. In addition River Radamus was fourth, Travis Lundin fifth and Sky Kelsey sixth.

Rough weather has plagued the eastern championships. The J2 Nationals at Sugarloaf, Maine had to name its combined winners without the benefit of downhills as not even a single training run could be completed. Danny Duffy, Thomas Robles, Alex Jones, Patrick McConville, Carter Roberston and Nicolas Veth were the combined top six respectively. The women’s medals went, in order, to Devon Clarke, Morganne Murphy, Anna Mounsey, Kelly Moore, Catie Zeliff and Lila Lapanja.

The J3 championship event, scheduled to start at Okemo, Vermont today (March 11) were postponed by weather.
