Czech skier Sarka Zahrobska was forced to stop training due to acute neurological health problems. Instead of getting ready for the coming season Zahrobska was hospitalized and is waiting for the diagnose.

“Sarka is a fighter and we have not yet changed our autumn training plans,” Karel Tejkal, the spokesman of Sarka Zahrobska said to iDNES.cz.

According to the sources close the 2007 world champion, doctors found an unknown object in Zahrobska’s brain, which has been causing her problems. The official press release says that “Sarka Zahrobska spent a week in an induced coma but these days she is fully conscious again and has been communicating. It remains unclear when Zahrobska is fully back to training.“

“The decision about next steps will be taken based on medical results and especially base on success of the treatment,” Tejkal commented.
