Shiffrin changes course for Val d’Isere

Mikaela Shiffrin has announced that she will be starting the super G in Val d’Isere. Shiffrin is fresh off a pair of SG races and training in St. Moritz and was not initially planning on taking the trip over to Val d’Isere. She had two third-place finishes in the St. Moritz super-G races. This will be her first time starting a World Cup super-G in Val d’Isere.

“I was not at all planning on going to Val d’Isere but we decided just last night to give it a go in the Super G… so here goes somethin’!”
