Ski Racing International announced today that Christine J. Feehan will lead content development as newly named Editor in Chief while the company expands offerings across its web platform SkiRacing.com, recently launched mobile application, and complementary social media accounts.

“After 14 years of invaluable service to Ski Racing, Sarah Tuff Dunn has decided to take a step back in her contributions. We’re excited to promote Christine into the position of Editor in Chief, a well-deserved role considering her expansive industry experience and genuine passion for the sport,” said Ski Racing Publisher Claire Abbe Brown.

Feehan joined the Ski Racing staff as a contributing writer in 2011 before serving as web editor from 2013-2016. Prior to that, she was an elite-level alpine coach at Burke Mountain Academy, Killington Mountain School, and Sugar Bowl Academy. A graduate of Dartmouth College and Skidmore College, she also holds USSA Level 300 coaching and PSIA Level 2 alpine certifications.

“I’m excited for the challenge that lies ahead as Ski Racing continues to lead the forefront of digital media production and distribution,” said Feehan. “I look forward to expanding our reach and impact in the ski racing community as we provide critical resources to those who care most about this sport.”

Associate Editor Gabbi Hall will assume several of Feehan’s previous responsibilities as the new digital content editor. A former NCAA athlete at Saint Michael’s College, Hall contributed women’s World Cup and domestic coverage for Ski Racing during the 2015-16 season. While she will continue to provide reporting on those beats, she now will also oversee breaking news content on SkiRacing.com.

Former University of Vermont All-American Sean Higgins returns as associate editor of the men’s World Cup circuit and domestic topics. Veteran Senior Editor Hank McKee continues to contribute statistics and historical analysis, while Director of Visual Content Susie Theis is responsible for video production and online advertising.

“This is certainly one of the strongest staffs we’ve had over the years, and I believe we will bring our coverage of ski sport to new levels,” said Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer Gary Black Jr.
