In Episode 14 of the Skiing is Believing podcast, presented by Ski Racing Media, Alan and Matt meet up with Slovenian star Ana Bucik Jogan.

In the episode, they discussed Ana’s success across multiple disciplines, which include her Alpine Combined World Cup podium in 2018. Furthermore, they talked about ski racing in Slovenia and the continued success on the big stage, but the fact that not many young people in the country want to be ski racers is something that Ana hopes to alter.

Also, you can learn more about Ana’s plans for the next few months before she hopes to bounce back with some big results next season after an “underachieved 2023/24”.

She also shares with us what it is like to make your FIS World Cup debut at 16 on home snow, as she did in Maribor in 2010.

Don’t hesitate to let Matt and Alan know what you think of this episode or any others you’ve listened to on Spotify.
